Lumai wraps up Intel Ignite programme

Twelve weeks on from being selected for Intel Ignite’s first London Cohort – out of more than 200 applications – the Lumai team wrapped up the programme with a grand finale at the House of Lords. A fantastic experience!

Lumai was part of a group of nine fast-moving, innovative and talented startups in the programme designed to support “founders whose goal is to change the world for the better using disruptive technology”. As a startup looking to do just this, it was a perfect fit.

The 12-week programme covered topics as diverse as communication, company culture, negotiation, resilience, and fundraising. As part of the marketing sessions, we also launched a video which introduces Lumai.

Of particular note, the programme provided Lumai with a range of workshops covering topics critical to the success of early-stage startups, a network of fellow startups to connect with during and beyond the programme, and access to an amazing pool of knowledge within Intel.

The House of Lords setting provided the perfect finish to celebrate the cohort, meet with others from the deeptech community, and thank all of those who have supported Lumai and the wider programme. Of course, the journey isn’t finished – the support from Intel and the strong working relationships we have developed will continue, as will our close contact with fellow participants.

For any new startup looking to develop their technology and grow their business, we would highly recommend applying to future cohorts. We’re excited to see who will join us as Intel Ignite alumni from the second London cohort!
