Lumai joins Open Compute Project to advance datacenter sustainability

Today Lumai has joined the Open Compute Project (OCP), an influential industry-led community focused on hardware technology to efficiently support the growing demands on compute infrastructure.

With members from across the spectrum of datacenter and compute organizations, and with board members from a host of leading tech firms – including Microsoft, Intel, Meta and Google – OCP sits at the cutting edge of innovation and brings together companies of all sizes to collaborate.

Lumai joins OCP as a member and also as part of the OCP Startup Program. Joining OCP is a natural next step for Lumai as the company continues to push the boundaries of AI datacenter performance and efficiency. By adopting and contributing to open standards, Lumai is ensuring that its innovative AI accelerators can be more easily deployed at scale.

Lumai is attending the 2024 OCP Regional Summit which is taking place in Lisbon from April 24–25th, 2024. The European Summit serves as a platform where the OCP community and leaders from EMEA come together to tackle issues related to datacenter sustainability.
